G) Payment terms: L/C 60 days from a nationalized Indian Bank
H) Switching B/L: We need to switch the Bill of Lading in Mumbai with prior permission of your shipping lines. So to say - once we receive your three original B/Ls along with other documents, sent from your bank to our bank, your payment will be confirm and shall
be made by our bankers directly. Only after this we shall receive the documents from our bankers. We thereupon we shall submit all the Bills of Lading including Originals, to your shipping lines agent in Mumbai.
Then your shipping line agent in Mumbai will issue
fresh set of B/Ls including three originals. This new B/L shall have our name as shipper, our overseas customers name as consignee and the B/L date of the day of switching of B/L. This will facilitates us to negotiate our documents with our bankers to get money from our overseas customer. This means that your payment is received by you directly and we have to do this above procedure to get our money from our overseas customer.
